What is Nippon Maru?
A practice sailing ship built in 1930. Nippon Maru is the first time in Japan that everything from design to policy has been consistently in Japan. She has been active for more than 50 years and raised many apprentices. Currently stored at the Nippon Maru Memorial Park in Yokohama Port and is designated as a national important cultural property.
